Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:<\/strong><strong>14<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Story\u2026\u00a0<\/strong>Acts\u00a0chapters\u00a022\u00a0and\u00a026 are the apostle Paul sharing his story of coming to know Jesus\u00a0and\u00a0to\u00a0be a very influential leader of the church.\u00a0He talks about his life before being a Christian. He emphasizes\u00a0his place of origin, his tribal\u00a0ancestry, his religious background, his early hatred of\u00a0Christianity,\u00a0his travels,\u00a0and even his persecution\u00a0of\u00a0Christians\u00a0before he became one.\u00a0God certainly used Paul\u2019s passion and get-it-done attitude\u00a0in his apostolic ministry. Paul\u2019s\u00a0Jewish\u00a0status,\u00a0education and political\u00a0status\u00a0made Paul the perfect guy to take the gospel to the known world.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Head\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><strong>What does God<\/strong><strong>\u2019s<\/strong><strong>\u00a0redemption through Jesus mean for me<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gen. 1:27\u00a0So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2\u00a0Cor.\u00a05:17.\u00a0\u00a0Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Col.\u00a03:10 And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Pet. 1:18-19\u202fFor you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Heart\u2026<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>How\u00a0<\/strong><strong>will God use my personality and passions<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 Sam.\u00a016:7\u00a0But the\u202fLord\u202fsaid to Samuel, \u201cDo not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the\u202fLord\u202fsees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the\u202fLord\u202flooks on the heart.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psalm\u00a037:4\u00a0Delight yourself in the\u202fLord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ecc. 3:11\u00a0He\u00a0has put eternity into man&#8217;s heart.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mat.\u00a06:21\u00a0For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hands\u2026<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Wha<\/strong><strong>t skills and experiences will help you\u00a0<\/strong><strong>do the work God has called you to<\/strong><strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eph\u00a02: 10\u00a0For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Col 3:23\u00a0Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eph. 4:11\u00a0And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong><strong>\u2026<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Lord thank you for offering us redemption\u00a0in Jesus the Son of God. Thank you Holy Spirit for drawing us to Christ. Lord continue to show us how you are redeeming\u00a0our lives, our thoughts, and our actions.\u00a0You are remaking us for\u00a0good\u00a0works.
