We have had an awesome time at Armistead Elementary leading the Good News Club. We eat a snack, share a Bible story, play games, and have a great time. Our gathering is on Thursdays right after school. We meet in a room, directly across from the main office. Hope you will join us. We are a part of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Baltimore. We meet on Thursdays unless school is canceled or is a half day on Thursday.

We would love for your student to join us, and you just need to do two things to join the club and attend:

  1. Register your child for the club at goodnewsclubformarmisteadbaltimor  There is also a paper form that you can fill out, if you prefer. We can give it to you.
  2. Instruct your child to find our team right after school on Thursday in the room across from the main office at Armistead Elementary. We will have on our blue Good News Club t-shirts.

Our kids meet during our worship service to receive a teaching and ministry special for them from our kids gate team. We additionally have activities for our kids up to 5th grade several times a year. Email Mrs. Meryl with any questions you have about our kids ministry. Meryl O'Donald

Looking for a fun way to keep the kids active and engaged during winter break? Join us for Adventure Camp, a two-day winter getaway designed to spark curiosity and build new skills!

  • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM each afternoon
🗓️ Our Daily Schedule
Day 1: Monday, Dec 29 – Nature & Wildlife Exploration
We’re kicking things off with an exciting field trip to Marshy Point Nature Center! Kids will immerse themselves in the local ecosystem, explore winter nature trails, and learn about the wildlife that calls our region home during the colder months.
  • Note: Please ensure children arrive dressed in warm layers for outdoor exploration.
Day 2: Tuesday, Dec 30 – Sports, Careers & Creativity
Our second day moves indoors for a high-energy afternoon of sports and hands-on crafts.
  • Indoor Sports: Team-building games and athletic activities to keep everyone moving.
  • Career Exploration: Interactive "future-focused" activities to help kids discover different career paths.
  • Winter Crafts: A dedicated session for kids to create and take home their own winter-themed masterpieces.
📍 Drop-off & Pickup Details
  • Monday: Drop and pick up kids at church
