We believe that every christian will find the most significance in Christ as they find their place in the local church (the body of Christ). we use the word "membership" from Romans 12:4-5 to refer to people who have professed Jesus as Lord, been born again, been baptisted, and actively are a part of the gates church. Our process to membership includes participating in a membership gathering after completing 4 or 5 class gatherings where we make sure we have an understanding of the gospel; explain what our church believes; and teach what the gates church and membership is all about in our vision, mission and strategy. reach out to pastor Austin if you are interested in membership. austin@thegateschurch.com
